The Lighthouse Club Cambodia is set to relaunch with a charity-centered business lunch on November 14, 2025, at Villa 5 Contemporary Cuisine, Phnom Penh. The event marks a renewed commitment to supporting Cambodia’s construction community through scholarships, welfare support, and professional networking opportunities.
A New Chapter for Lighthouse Club Cambodia
The Lighthouse Club, a long-standing international organization that promotes fellowship and charitable initiatives across the construction industry, is reigniting its presence in Cambodia. The relaunch lunch, supported by Cova Cambodia and sponsored by Knight Frank Cambodia, aims to bring together professionals from across engineering, architecture, and construction sectors for an afternoon of collaboration and giving back.
“The Lighthouse Club has always been about people — connecting professionals while making a positive difference in the communities where we work,” said Ross Wheble, Country Head of Knight Frank Cambodia. “We’re proud to support this relaunch in Cambodia, helping to fund education and provide assistance to those who need it most within the industry.”
Focus on Charity and Education
Funds raised from the event will go toward scholarships for underprivileged students pursuing construction-related education and financial support for workers and their families facing hardship. This initiative builds on the Lighthouse Club’s international legacy of offering assistance to construction workers injured at work, or to the families of those who have lost their lives on the job.
Attendees can look forward to a four-course lunch set and free-flow drinks while networking with peers and discussing the future of Cambodia’s construction sector. The afternoon will also spotlight upcoming leadership changes within the club and outline plans for its 2026 calendar of events, which will include charity drives, mentorship programs, and sector-specific talks.
Building a Supportive Industry Community
Beyond fundraising, the Lighthouse Club Cambodia seeks to foster a culture of unity and responsibility within the local industry. By connecting business leaders, developers, and professionals, the organization hopes to create an ecosystem where success and compassion go hand in hand.
“This is not just another networking lunch — it’s the start of a movement to strengthen our industry’s social fabric,” Wheble added. “By working together, we can create a more sustainable and supportive construction community for everyone.”
The Late Lunch Event will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Villa 5 Contemporary Cuisine, located at 5 Samdech Mongkol Iem Street, Phnom Penh. Attendance costs $45 for members and $50 for non-members.
