Rithy Sear, Chairman of The WorldBridge Group of Companies, joined senior business leaders from around the world in Geneva on August 19 and 20 for the World Economic Forum’s 2026 August Leadership Meeting, held at WEF headquarters. The invitation-only gathering convened voices from across industries to address the issues shaping today’s global economy.

Discussions over the two days spanned the global economic outlook, the geopolitics of a contested world, the AI value realization gap, and the shifting dynamics of control and dependency in the AI partnership era, among other themes central to navigating growth in a volatile environment. The meeting gave Chairman Sear further opportunity to engage counterparts from diverse sectors and geographies, reinforcing WorldBridge’s ongoing dialogue on collaborative solutions for the Southeast Asia region.
