Dararith Lim has been named Group President and Chief Executive Officer of the American University of Phnom Penh. Most recently, Lim was the President of the General Electric Cambodia where he served for over 13 years and was originally a start-up in 2008.
Lim also served as a member of the Board of Governors for the American Chamber of Commerce for over eight years; the Vice Chair for US-ASEAN Business Council, based in Washington DC; and the Board of Trustees for the American University of Phnom Penh for almost a decade in Cambodia.
Additionally, he was one of the founders of a local international school, namely, the School for Future Leaders International School.
AUPP was established in 2013 as a Cambodian university with an American curriculum. There were three founders who envisioned a new university that would meet international standards and be based on the US educational system.
