Pernod Ricard Vietnam has donated VND 1 billion (approx. $40,000USD) to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to support the northern provinces impacted by Typhoon Yagi (Typhoon No. 3) and subsequent floods. The donation will be distributed across five severely affected provinces, including Cao Bang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, and Hai Phong.

Understanding the immense challenges faced by the northern provinces in overcoming the severe damages caused by Typhoon Yagi and the flooding, Pernod Ricard Vietnam directly contributed VND 1 billion to the Vietnam Fatherland Front. This donation is aimed at helping local communities rebuild their lives and recover from the devastating impact of the natural disasters.

During the handover ceremony, Pernod Ricard Vietnam’s External Affairs, Communications, and Corporate Social Responsibility Director, Ms. Trinh Thi Van Giang, along with the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Timo Fell, presented the donation to the representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee. The fund will be distributed across the five most heavily impacted provinces through coordination with the Vietnam Red Cross.

Expressing Gratitude for Support

Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, expressed her gratitude for the company’s generosity. She acknowledged the importance of the business community’s solidarity and financial support in helping the affected regions recover from the damages caused by the typhoon and floods. The support provided will play a crucial role in helping local families overcome challenges and regain stability in their lives.
