Australia and the Cambodia Development Research Institute (CDRI) jointly hosted the Cambodia Outlook Conference 2025 in Phnom Penh, reinforcing Australia’s role in supporting Cambodia’s economic growth and development. The event, presided over by Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, convened over 500 participants, including senior government officials, academics, and development partners, to explore strategies for accelerating Cambodia’s economic progress.

Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, H.E. The conference was supported through the Cambodia Australia Partnership for Resilient Economic Development (CAPRED), Australia’s flagship economic development initiative in Cambodia. CAPRED plays a crucial role in fostering policy dialogue and collaboration between Cambodian and international stakeholders to ensure long-term, high-quality economic growth.
