Strengthening Cambodia’s Governance Framework
Established by the International Business Chamber (IBC), Cam-IoD has quickly positioned itself as a hub for professional development for board directors. Its flagship Certified Directors Course has drawn increasing interest from executives and board members seeking internationally recognized governance credentials.
The creation of the Council marks a crucial step toward Cam-IoD’s goal of becoming a fully independent and nationally recognized institution. The body will guide the Institute’s growth while maintaining alignment with its founding mission to build a strong foundation of ethical, transparent, and effective leadership in Cambodia’s corporate sector.
Founding Sponsors and Continued Development
Phillip Capital Group and Acclime have been instrumental in supporting Cam-IoD’s early development, serving as Founding Sponsors. Their contribution reflects a shared commitment to advancing corporate governance practices and promoting business integrity in Cambodia.
As part of its next phase of development, Cam-IoD is prioritizing meaningful engagement with both public and private sector stakeholders. The Council is expected to lead efforts to further professionalize board practices and create an environment conducive to sustainable business growth and investor confidence.
