Our efforts will focus on providing value to our members and fostering stronger ties within the business community.”

Expanding Membership and Strengthening Partnerships

Irving also emphasized that one of AusCham’s key goals for 2025 is to increase membership value and engagement: “Our focus will be on providing more value to our approximately 65 members, while also attracting new members through a broad range of business and social events.”

In addition to expanding its membership, AusCham plans to strengthen its partnerships with Australian government bodies, including the Embassy and DFAT, as well as with other ASEAN chambers. This collaborative approach is part of a broader effort to promote trade and investment between Australia and Cambodia, in line with Australia’s “Invested: Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040.”

“Our strong relationships with key stakeholders will be essential as we work to increase bilateral trade and investment,” Irving added. “We are focused on making sure Australian businesses in Cambodia have the support and resources they need to succeed.  The Auscham Board will continue to work together to build on the existing platforms, to ensure the best possible service to sponsors and members “

AusCham’s efforts to rejuvenate come at a time when Cambodia is seeing growing interest from Australia, particularly in trade and investment. With its expanded events calendar and strategic initiatives, AusCham is poised to play an integral role in strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
