Cambodia Investment Review
The International Business Chamber of Cambodia (IBC) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 11, 2026, at Rosewood Phnom Penh, bringing together members of the international business community to review the chamber’s activities and financial performance while electing a new Executive Committee for the 2026 term.
The event, scheduled from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with registration opening at 11:30 AM, will provide an overview of the chamber’s Annual Report and Financial Report for 2025. The meeting will also serve as an opportunity for members to engage with the chamber’s leadership and discuss priorities for the year ahead.
IBC members in good standing — defined as those who have paid their membership for 2026 — will be eligible to vote in the election and will receive one complimentary ticket to attend the meeting. Additional tickets will be available for members at a cost of $37.50 per person.
Executive Committee Election for 2026
A key item on the AGM agenda will be the election of the Executive Committee for the 2026 term. Eight nominees have been put forward for the seven available positions, with members voting during the meeting.
The nominated candidates are:
• Paul Clements — Managing Partner, Joint Asian Development Enterprises
• Arnaud Darc — Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Thalias Hospitality Group
• Daniel Simon — Managing Director, Rosewood Phnom Penh
• Currie Sun Min Lee — Head of Korea Desk, Bun & Associates
• Jesse McCaul — Shareholder, Making It Easy
• Lisa Sargent — Country Manager (Cambodia), Visa
• Parth Borkotoky — Partner, Cast Ventures (Cambodia)
• Roman Hamala — International Partner, Sok Siphana Sethalay
Under the chamber’s constitution, a quorum of at least 50 percent of members must be present in person or represented by proxy in order for the vote to proceed.
Annual Report and Financial Review
During the meeting, IBC leadership will present the organization’s Annual Report and Financial Report for 2025, outlining the chamber’s activities, initiatives, and financial performance over the past year.
The reports are expected to reflect the chamber’s engagement with its members and the broader business community through events, policy dialogue, and collaboration with stakeholders across Cambodia’s international business environment.
IBC has also shared its official statute, approved by Cambodia’s Ministry of Commerce, with members as part of its ongoing efforts to maintain transparency, governance standards, and member engagement.
AI and Leadership in the Executive Suite
In addition to the governance agenda, the AGM will feature a presentation titled “The AI-Enabled CEO,” delivered by Dr. Sameer Jha, Head of Academics at De Montfort University Cambodia.
The session will explore how artificial intelligence is increasingly shaping executive decision-making and business strategy. Dr. Jha is expected to share practical insights on AI tools that executives may consider investing in, approaches for introducing AI effectively within teams, and how leaders can use emerging technologies to strengthen strategic and operational decision-making.
The presentation reflects a growing focus among business leaders in Cambodia and the region on how digital technologies and artificial intelligence can improve productivity, innovation, and long-term competitiveness.
The International Business Chamber of Cambodia serves as a platform connecting international investors, multinational companies, and business leaders operating in the Kingdom. Through networking events, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and policy engagement, the chamber seeks to support Cambodia’s evolving business ecosystem while promoting best practices in leadership and governance.
Members who are unable to attend the AGM in person may appoint a proxy representative to vote on their behalf. Registration for the event is open to members through the chamber’s official registration link.
