IDP IELTS Cambodia and VANDA University have signed a memorandum of understanding to expand access to IELTS registration services and help Cambodian students prepare for international education and professional opportunities.
The MoU was signed on October 22 by Mao Sreng, chairman of the board and director of IDP Education Cambodia, representing the Australian Centre for Education (ACE) and IDP IELTS Cambodia, and Heng Vanda, founder and chairman of the board of directors of VANDA University.
The partnership aims to improve access to IELTS registration services and relevant information, helping students understand English-language requirements as they plan their academic and professional futures.
“Our partnership with VANDA University reflects IDP IELTS Cambodia’s commitment to making globally recognized English-language testing services more accessible to Cambodian students. By expanding access to IELTS registration services and relevant information, we aim to provide greater convenience for test takers as they prepare to pursue educational, professional and international opportunities,” Mao Sreng said.
Heng Vanda said the collaboration would complement the university’s efforts to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue future academic and professional opportunities.
“We are pleased to partner with IDP IELTS Cambodia to strengthen the support available to our students as they prepare for their academic and professional futures. Access to IELTS registration services and reliable information will help students better understand the requirements for international study and other opportunities, complementing our commitment to equipping them with the knowledge and skills to succeed in an increasingly connected world,” he said.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an English-language proficiency test recognized by more than 13,500 organizations worldwide, including universities, employers and government agencies. It is used to assess English proficiency for education, employment and migration purposes.
IDP Education is an international education services provider operating in more than 30 countries. Established in 1969, the organization is a co-owner of IELTS and connects students with educational institutions in countries including Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates.
In Cambodia, IDP Education operates the Australian Centre for Education (ACE), which has provided English-language education and training since 1992. ACE serves more than 100,000 students annually across six campuses in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, as well as through virtual classrooms.
VANDA University offers academic programs and educational collaborations aimed at developing students’ academic knowledge and professional skills.
Through the agreement, the two institutions aim to make IELTS registration services and relevant information more accessible, helping students better understand their options for further education and professional development.
