Phnom Penh’s business and expat community will soon raise their steins once again as the German Business Cambodia (GBC) prepares to host Oktoberfest Cambodia 2025 on October 24–25 at Connexion Community Mall, Koh Pich — one of the country’s most anticipated social and cultural gatherings.

Reviving a Beloved Tradition

Now in its second year under a refreshed format, Oktoberfest Cambodia 2025 continues to grow as a symbol of cultural exchange and business networking. Organized by GBC—a founding chapter of EuroCham Cambodia—the event celebrates the long-standing friendship between Cambodia and Germany while highlighting partnerships that drive trade, tourism, and investment.

Co-founder Tassilo Brinzer calls the five-hour, all-inclusive feast the “biggest international party in Cambodia,” celebrating German-Cambodian friendship with the Osaft band ready to get even dignitaries dancing.

“This year’s Oktoberfest builds on the success of 2024,” said Tassilo Brinzer, President of GBC. “We look forward to another unforgettable celebration that brings together business, culture, and community in the spirit of friendship.”

Hanuman Beverages joins as the official beer partner, bringing its signature brews that blend German brewing expertise with Cambodian tradition, further strengthening the festival’s cross-cultural significance.

A Business and Cultural Showcase

The two-night event promises an energetic mix of entertainment and culinary experiences, featuring Ozapft, a six-piece band from Germany and Austria known for electrifying Oktoberfests across Asia—including in Bangkok, Hanoi, and Kuala Lumpur.

Attendees will enjoy a free-flow buffet from partners such as Hops Restaurants, Hummus House, and Compas Restaurants, serving German sausages, Mediterranean kebabs, BBQ, tacos, and vegetarian options. Each guest will receive a limited-edition 2025 Oktoberfest beer stein as a keepsake.

Corporate sponsors including DHL, Rhenus, Würth, and BMW Motorrad Club Cambodia have also joined, showcasing the festival’s position as a bridge between German industry and Cambodia’s expanding economy.

Strengthening Bilateral Ties Through Celebration

The event will be officially opened by German Ambassador H.E. Stefan Messerer on Friday, October 24 at 7:00 PM, with an expected audience of up to 1,000 guests, including diplomats, Cambodian business leaders, and members of the international community.

Tickets, priced at USD 52, are available via the GBC online form or at outlets including La Croisette, Hops Restaurants, Hummus House, and The Vine. Group discounts are available.

Founded in 2003, German Business Cambodia serves as a key voice for European business in the Kingdom, partnering with institutions such as GIZ and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) to support Cambodia’s goal of becoming an upper-middle-income economy by 2050.
