WorldBridge Group and DRSB Express have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening Cambodia’s logistics and e-commerce ecosystem.

The agreement was formalised on April 24 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Phnom Penh, with WorldBridge Group Chairman Rithy Sear and DRSB Express CEO Kim Sambath representing the two parties.

Partnership targets cross-border trade growth

The MoU sets out a framework for collaboration that leverages the complementary capabilities of both firms, particularly in cross-border logistics and domestic distribution.

DRSB Express has built an integrated platform focused on cross-border e-commerce, connecting international suppliers with Cambodian consumers through nationwide last-mile delivery. WorldBridge Group, meanwhile, brings a diversified portfolio spanning logistics, real estate, and financial services, alongside an established regional network.

Under the agreement, both companies will explore opportunities to expand Cambodia’s cross-border trade capacity, improve supply chain efficiency, and support the development of domestic commerce.

Rithy Sear said the partnership reflects growing demand for more efficient logistics infrastructure and deeper regional trade integration.

“DRSB has built a strong platform and a loyal customer base in a short period of time. We see real potential in working together to deepen Cambodia’s participation in regional trade and to deliver better services for Cambodian businesses and consumers,” he said.

Aligning with Cambodia’s logistics modernisation push

The collaboration comes as Cambodia continues to prioritise logistics and trade facilitation as part of its broader economic strategy, including efforts to modernise infrastructure and enhance cross-border connectivity.

The two companies said the partnership will serve as a foundation for longer-term initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency and reliability of supply chains across the country.

Industry observers note that partnerships between established conglomerates and emerging logistics platforms are becoming more common in Cambodia, as companies seek to capitalise on the rapid growth of e-commerce and regional trade flows.

Expanding footprint in a growing market

For WorldBridge Group, the agreement marks another step in its ongoing expansion across key sectors tied to Cambodia’s economic development, particularly logistics and infrastructure.

DRSB Express, established in 2016, has positioned itself as a fast-growing player in Cambodia’s e-commerce logistics space, offering end-to-end services including order management, warehousing, fulfilment, and last-mile delivery.

Both companies said they expect the partnership to create long-term value for their businesses while supporting broader economic activity across Cambodia.
