Cambodia Investment Review

Companies across Cambodia’s tourism, hospitality, food, retail, property and lifestyle sectors are being invited to participate in and sponsor a major exhibition weekend supported by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries, set to take place at Koh Pich Exhibition Hall from June 6–7, 2026.

Organised by ADVANTAGE by Universal Alliance Co. Ltd., the large-scale event will bring together four Major exhibitions and activities simultaneously, including the Green Season Tourism, Travel & Property Exhibition, Family Chef Competition, and Made in Cambodia Exhibition.

The initiative aims to support Cambodia’s Green Season tourism campaign while creating new business and networking opportunities for companies looking to promote products, services, destinations and brands directly to consumers and the wider business community.

Tourism and Hospitality Sector Encouraged to Join

The Green Season Tourism & Travel Exhibition will feature hotels, resorts, airlines, travel agencies, tourism destinations, transport providers and hospitality businesses showcasing special promotions and packages aimed at boosting tourism activity during Cambodia’s June to October Green Season initiative.

Family Chef Competition and Culinary Showcase

One of the key attractions during the two-day event will be the Family Chef Competition, which will see families compete in live cooking contests judged by celebrity chef MasterChef Chan Kanha, an international judge and a food industry KOL.

The event will also feature cooking demonstrations, food tastings and live social media broadcasts, with organisers positioning the competition as a family-friendly platform that combines entertainment with culinary creativity.

Families joining the competition will receive certificates, gifts, medals and trophies, while participation fees include cooking equipment, ingredients, seafood, vegetables and aprons. Registration is open until May 30, 2026.

International and Local Brands Back the Initiative

Among the major supporters of the event is the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council (USAPEEC), which sees the exhibition as an opportunity to strengthen engagement with Cambodia’s culinary, hospitality and retail sectors.

Mr. Garrett Borkhuis, Vice President of Trade & Technical Services of USAPEEC, together with ASEAN Consultant Mr. Thomas Tan, PBM, recently hosted a luncheon event at Rosewood Phnom Penh with Mr. Travis Stahl, Agricultural Attaché of the U.S. Consulate General Ho Chi Minh City – Office of Agricultural Affairs.

Mr. Thomas Tan, PBM, who led the USAPEEC mission noted that the fifteen companies in attendance primarily consist of poultry enterprises eager to introduce their products, including chicken, duck, turkey and eggs to the Cambodian market. Mr. Tan further noted that USAPEEC is sponsoring the Family Chefs Competition & Exhibition in the coming month that will provide Cambodians direct opportunity to assess the quality of United States poultry products on display with masterful chefs preparing the poultry items and food tasting.

The Made in Cambodia Exhibition will meanwhile showcase locally produced goods including food products, beverages, seafood, organic vegetables, spices, sauces, perfumes, soaps and Cambodian franchise concepts.

Property developers, furniture suppliers, banks, insurers and automotive companies — including EV brands — are also expected to participate through the property and lifestyle exhibition component.

Strong Business Networking Focus

In addition to the exhibitions, all exhibitors and sponsors are invited to attend an exclusive Business & Social Networking Night on June 5 at a five-star hotel in Phnom Penh.

The networking evening is expected to bring together representatives from supporting ministries, embassies, chambers of commerce, business associations and members of Cambodia’s private sector community.
