Phnom Penh will host a high-level gathering of regional policymakers and business leaders next month as the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Cambodia organize the ASEAN-Cambodia Business Summit 2026.

Scheduled for March 3–4, 2026, under the theme “ASEAN Transformation: Innovation, Integration, and Industrial Evolution,” the summit will take place at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra. The official opening ceremony on March 4 at 8:30 AM will be presided over by Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

According to the organizers, the summit is positioned as a milestone event at a time when ASEAN continues to reinforce its role as a global growth center. The gathering is expected to attract high-ranking dignitaries, ambassadors, representatives of relevant institutions, members of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, major international companies operating in Cambodia and across ASEAN, as well as sectoral experts.

Focus on ASEAN’s Strategic Transition

The two-day program will center on ASEAN’s economic potential and what organizers describe as the “Cambodia Strategy,” highlighting the country’s positioning within regional supply chains and emerging industries.

One key session will examine green industry and diversification under the theme “Enhancing Potential for New Transitions: Clean Energy, Land Management, and High-Value Manufacturing.” Discussions are expected to explore how Cambodia and ASEAN can accelerate energy transition, strengthen land-use management, and attract higher value-added manufacturing investment.

Another core theme, “Innovation and Integrated Ecosystems,” will focus on harmonizing customs, taxation, logistics, and financial systems to facilitate cross-border business growth. As ASEAN economies deepen integration, regulatory alignment and digital interoperability are increasingly viewed as essential to enhancing competitiveness and reducing transaction costs.

Regional integration will also feature prominently. Under the theme “Growth Beyond Borders,” panel discussions will address strengthening regional supply chains and tourism linkages, reflecting ASEAN’s ambition to position itself as a more cohesive economic bloc amid global economic shifts.

In parallel, workforce development will be examined through the lens of “Skills for Tomorrow.” The summit will highlight the evolution of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) systems in a modern economy, with a focus on preparing the next generation of workers for advanced manufacturing, digital transformation, and green industries.

Networking and Media Engagement

The summit will begin with a Networking Cocktail on the evening of March 3, providing a platform for business leaders, policymakers, and international stakeholders to connect ahead of the main forum. The full-day summit on March 4 will include plenary discussions and thematic sessions aligned with the four key pillars.

To facilitate reporting, the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce will provide a dedicated Media Room equipped with necessary facilities and high-speed internet. Real-time updates and the summit program will be broadcast live via the official CCC Facebook page.

The CCC has formally invited members of the media and journalists to attend and cover both the networking event and the main summit. Media representatives are required to register in advance through the official registration link.

Regional Platform for Business Dialogue

Organizers state that the ASEAN-Cambodia Business Summit 2026 aims to serve as a platform for policy dialogue and private sector engagement at a time when ASEAN economies are navigating industrial transformation, digital disruption, and sustainability imperatives.

The event is being organized in collaboration with international chambers of commerce and business associations in Cambodia and across ASEAN, reinforcing its cross-border orientation.

For companies interested in participating, further information and registration details are available through the official summit website. Organizers have encouraged early registration given the expected attendance of regional and international delegates.

The summit is set to take place on March 3–4, 2026, at Sofitel Phnom Penh, marking one of the region’s early flagship business gatherings of the year.
