Manulife Powers Angkor Wat International Half Marathon for Longevity and Record-Breaking Success

Cambodia Investment Review

Manulife, as the leading partner behind Cambodia’s most iconic sporting event, has been the driving force enabling the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon to reach record-breaking success. In proud partnership with the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), Manulife helped deliver an extraordinary experience for over 16,000 runners from approximately 86 countries across the globe, united under the theme “Run for Longevity”.

For 12 years, Manulife’s involvement has transformed this event from a race into a renowned gathering that promotes health, heritage, and community support. Participants are given a unique opportunity to run through the Angkor Archaeological Park, one of the most significant archaeological sites in Southeast Asia. Earlier this year, Manulife renewed its partnership with NOCC through 2030, reinforcing its leadership in fostering healthier lifestyles and strengthening Cambodia’s tourism and economy.

Manulife’s Vision To Empower People

‘Run for Longevity’ is more than a theme — it reflects Manulife’s vision to empower people to live longer, healthier lives. From logistical support to community engagement, Manulife’s role ensures the event operates at its best, creating lasting impact beyond the finish line. The recently launched Manulife Longevity Institute underscores this commitment by creating a global platform to drive action that helps people live longer, healthier, and more financially secure lives by 2030 – in Asia and around the world.
