The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (AusCham Cambodia) has joined a group of Phnom Penh’s most recognizable venues and brands in support of Smoke on the Water – a one-night charity event on Saturday, May 25, aimed at raising funds to purchase a piano for the children of Sunrise Cambodia.
Set aboard the Mekong Magic Cruise, the evening promises an elegant blend of indulgence and philanthropy, with guests boarding at 7:00 PM from Koh Pich before sailing into golden hour with cigars, whisky, tapas, and live music.
The afterparty continues on land at riverside hotspot Chew & Bash from 8:30 PM, where Phnom Penh’s DJ Dr. Wah-Wah will take over the decks, with bites by Hummus House and pours from Botanico Brewery. Cigars from Bertie will be available for purchase both on board and at the afterparty venue.
A Night of Taste, Tunes, and Giving Back
Attendees will receive:
- A welcome Nikka Whisky drink sponsored by Moonshine
- A second complimentary drink at the afterparty
- A complimentary Confidenciaal cigar by Bertie (for the first 75 guests)
- Tapas by Compas Mexican and Mekong Fine Foods
- Live acoustic music during the cruise
- A raffle ticket, with prizes ranging from luxury hotel stays to whisky sets and fine dining vouchers
All proceeds from the evening will go toward the purchase of a piano for Sunrise Cambodia—a long-standing NGO that supports vulnerable children in the Kingdom. The initiative underscores AusCham’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility through creative and collaborative fundraising efforts.
Tickets are priced at $35 (early bird) and $40 at the door.
