ABA Bank, the largest Cambodian commercial bank, received a Letter of Appreciation from Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, praising the Bank for becoming the country’s fifth-largest taxpayer in 2025.

This acknowledgment reflects ABA’s unwavering commitment to transparent corporate tax governance and its rigorous compliance with Cambodia’s tax obligations and regulations. By consistently meeting and exceeding national standards, ABA demonstrates its role as a responsible corporate citizen and trusted partner in Cambodia’s economic development.

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to ABA’s Chief Executive Officer for your contribution to the tax obligation for the government,” the letter signed by Prime Minister Hun Manet stated. “The Bank’s fulfillment of the tax payment obligation is a necessary contribution from the private sector, which is an important partner of the government, as well as a main resource to support the growth of Cambodia’s economy and society.”

The recognition builds on ABA’s strong track record of compliance. The Bank currently holds the prestigious “GOLD” Certificate of Tax Compliance presented by the General Department of Taxation for 2025-2026. It is the third consecutive certificate granted to ABA, underscoring its excellence in compliance with the tax regime.
