This feature allows users to engage in secure, money-related conversations directly within the app, aiming to enhance both convenience and security for its customers.

The in-app chat enables users to communicate with family members, colleagues, friends, or online sellers without needing to switch between different applications. This integration facilitates secure money transfers within the chat, reducing the risk of errors in sending money. Users can only chat with trusted contacts from their Favorites list or address book, ensuring that interactions remain safe and secure. End-to-end chat encryption ensures complete confidentiality for all financial discussions, preventing access by any external parties, including ABA.

ABA Bank has introduced a new feature designed to mitigate the risks associated with cyber scams. Fraudsters often exploit platforms like Telegram, Facebook, and TikTok to impersonate victims’ family members or friends, taking advantage of these platforms for financial interactions.

To access this feature, ABA Mobile users need to update their app to the latest version. The chat is accessible from an icon located in the top right corner of the app’s main screen.
