Cambodia Investment Review
SingMed International Medical Center is expanding its presence in Cambodia’s growing private healthcare sector, as demand increases for international-standard medical services, preventive healthcare, and advanced screening technology within the Kingdom.
Located near Exchange Square along Monivong Boulevard in Phnom Penh, SingMed says it is focused on providing accessible, high-quality healthcare services aimed at reducing the need for Cambodians to travel overseas for treatment.
The medical center offers a broad range of services including emergency and trauma care, specialist consultations, surgery, rehabilitation, dialysis, imaging, laboratory testing, and wellness-focused health screening programs.
“SingMed is committed to providing international-standard healthcare in Cambodia, making quality medical services more accessible so patients can receive trusted care close to home,” the company said.
Preventive Healthcare and Screening Demand Rising
As Cambodia’s middle class continues to grow and health awareness increases, private healthcare operators are seeing stronger demand for preventive healthcare services and early detection screening.
SingMed has introduced a range of health screening packages targeting both local and expatriate patients, including executive health checks, liver screening programs, anti-aging services, and multi-cancer screening technology.
According to the clinic’s promotional materials, packages range from basic screening services priced at $158 through to premium executive packages priced between $777 and $948, covering blood tests, cardiovascular screening, imaging services, hormone analysis, and cancer marker testing.
The center is also promoting AI-assisted multi-cancer screening using circulating tumour DNA technology designed to support earlier cancer detection.
Industry observers say preventative healthcare is becoming an increasingly important segment of Cambodia’s healthcare market as patients become more proactive in managing long-term health risks.

Building Trust in Cambodia’s Private Healthcare Sector
Despite significant growth in Cambodia’s healthcare sector over the past decade, many patients still travel to countries such as Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam for specialist treatment and advanced procedures.
SingMed says building greater confidence in local healthcare services will require consistent standards, modern medical technology, experienced specialists, and transparent patient care.
“It means delivering safe, high-quality care through skilled doctors, modern technology, professional standards, and patient-centre service,” the company stated when describing its approach to international-standard healthcare.
The clinic also highlighted pricing transparency as a key part of patient trust and decision-making.
“We provide clear pricing and explain all treatment options upfront, helping patients understand costs and make informed decisions,” SingMed added.
Competition Increasing Across Healthcare Providers
Cambodia’s private healthcare sector has become increasingly competitive in recent years, with hospitals, specialist clinics, and wellness providers investing heavily in new technology, modern facilities, and international partnerships.
Healthcare operators are also increasingly targeting preventative care, executive wellness, diagnostics, and specialised treatment services as the sector continues to mature.
