EuroCham Cambodia’s Real Estate and Construction Committee, in partnership with EuroCham Vietnam’s Construction Committee, is pleased to announce the third edition of the “Tall Building Forum,” set to take place on Thursday 30th May at the prestigious Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra. This full-day forum will gather industry leaders and professionals to explore the future of tall buildings in Southeast Asia.

This year, the forum expands its reach across the region, with sessions also scheduled for the 28th of May in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The shared theme, “Tall Building Trends in Southeast Asia,” promises insightful discussions and networking opportunities.
During the morning sessions, the forum will cover the introduction to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) Asia activities and membership scheme. Subsequently, there will be a panel discussion regarding the opportunities and challenges of high-rise development in Phnom Penh.

The afternoon session will concentrate on tall and small buildings in dense cities, examine the sustainability and affordability of tall buildings, and explore the most recent technologies and methodologies in tall building construction.
Lawrence Lennon, Managing Director of CBRE Cambodia, will moderate a panel on the ongoing tall building trends in Cambodia. “The Tall Buildings Forum lays the foundation for dialogue around sustainable urban development and will allow stakeholders to explore the future opportunities and challenges present in the Cambodian real estate market,” he said.
Michel Cassagnes, Chairman of EuroCham Cambodia’s Real Estate and Construction Committee and EuroCham Vietnam’s Construction Sector Committee will provide closing remarks at the forum. “As someone deeply involved in the construction sectors of both Cambodia and Vietnam, I am thrilled to witness the Tall Building Forum’s continued growth and expanding regional reach,” he said. “This powerful event is a testament to the value of cross-border collaboration and our collective commitment to developing tall, sustainable buildings across Southeast Asia.”
Martin Brisson, Executive Director of EuroCham Cambodia, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming forum, stating, “We are excited to host the Tall Building Forum once again, this time with our partners at EuroCham Vietnam.
