foodpanda, one of Asia’s leading food and grocery delivery platforms, has officially partnered with emart24, the globally recognized convenience store brand, to expand last-mile delivery services in Cambodia. The two companies held a signing ceremony at foodpanda’s Cambodia headquarters at GIA Tower, marking a significant step forward in the evolution of Cambodia’s digital retail landscape.

Strategic Collaboration Targets 24/7 Delivery Market

The partnership integrates emart24’s growing retail footprint with foodpanda’s tech-enabled logistics platform. Together, they aim to streamline access to daily essentials and ready-to-eat meals through foodpanda’s mobile app, a move designed to cater to the evolving lifestyle of Cambodian consumers increasingly seeking fast, reliable, and round-the-clock service.

The collaboration will initially focus on Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville, where foodpanda recently launched 24/7 delivery service. Customers in these areas can now access a wide array of emart24’s convenience store offerings—including Korean snacks, hot meals, and coffee—via the app at any time of day or night.

Focus on Seamless Access and Tech Integration

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Achaya BC, Country Manager of foodpanda Cambodia, said the partnership is aligned with the company’s broader mission to expand digital convenience across the country.

“This collaboration with emart24 aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver unparalleled convenience to our app users,” he said. “By combining our tech expertise with emart24’s retail excellence, customers can now seamlessly order a diverse range of food and daily essentials, enjoying enhanced accessibility and convenience.”

He also emphasized the significance of foodpanda’s 24/7 delivery initiative and its recent expansion to Koh Rong Island, a key tourist destination. “Our goal is to bridge service gaps—even in remote areas—by enabling both residents and visitors to access food and groceries with ease,” he added.

Enhancing Value with Exclusive Offers

As part of the collaboration, customers can expect new promotional campaigns, bundle deals, and exclusive discounts designed to increase platform engagement and reward loyalty. These campaigns are expected to drive higher order volumes while promoting customer retention.

Mr. Sengly Heng, Managing Director of emart24 Cambodia, highlighted the operational advantages the partnership brings.

“We are genuinely pleased to collaborate with foodpanda in providing customers with a swift and seamless delivery experience,” he said. “Thanks to foodpanda’s efficient service, customers can now enjoy freshly prepared Korean cuisine and hot coffee from emart24 in a single order.”

Heng noted the partnership reflects both companies’ shared ambition to simplify the customer experience while maintaining high service standards. “This cooperation will allow us to contribute meaningfully to daily life in Cambodia through dependable, high-quality service,” he added.

Expanding Cambodia’s Digital Retail Footprint

The partnership arrives at a time when Cambodia’s e-commerce and quick commerce sectors are seeing increased momentum, driven by rising smartphone penetration, digital payment adoption, and urban demand for convenience. foodpanda and emart24’s collaboration is expected to serve as a model for how global retail and digital platforms can successfully integrate to meet local market demands.

With plans to expand further and capitalize on the country’s appetite for tech-enabled lifestyle solutions, both companies are positioning themselves at the forefront of Cambodia’s modern convenience economy.
