Cambodia Investment Review

Setting a new benchmark in women’s, children’s, and family healthcare in Cambodia, Orchid Hospital has been awarded “Hospital of the Year – Cambodia” and “Health and Wellness Initiative of the Year – Cambodia” at the Healthcare Asia Awards 2026.

The dual recognition reflects the hospital’s focus on delivering patient-centered care while expanding health education and awareness across Cambodia, particularly for women, children, and families.

Elevating standards in modern healthcare

Since its establishment in 2017, Orchid Hospital has grown into a key healthcare provider with two facilities: Orchid Koh Pich Hospital and Orchid Sen Sok Polyclinic. The group offers a range of specialised services, including maternity, gynecology, pediatrics and neonatal care, ENT, general medicine, and aesthetic services.

With a team of more than 100 medical specialists and over 110,000 patient visits recorded in 2025, the hospital continues to scale its operations while maintaining a focus on personalised care and clinical quality.

The “Hospital of the Year” award recognises ongoing investment in medical technology and service delivery. The hospital has introduced advanced 5D and AI-powered ultrasound systems, alongside EMS pelvic chair technology, supporting more precise diagnostics and treatment across multiple disciplines, including general medicine, surgery, emergency care, and women’s health.

Orchid Hospital also operates in line with internationally recognised standards, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 10004:2018, supporting consistency in quality, patient safety, and service delivery.

Rapid growth and expansion

The launch of Orchid Sen Sok Polyclinic in March 2024 has contributed to the hospital’s expansion, with patient volumes increasing rapidly and approaching levels seen at the Koh Pich facility.

Growth has been supported by ongoing investment in continuous medical education (CME), multidisciplinary collaboration, and digital healthcare solutions. These include appointment scheduling systems and structured follow-up care, aimed at improving patient convenience and continuity of treatment.

Women’s health initiative recognised

The hospital’s “Women We Love” campaign received the “Health and Wellness Initiative of the Year – Cambodia” award. Launched in 2025, the initiative focuses on improving access to health information for women across different life stages.

The campaign covers areas including reproductive health, fertility, mental well-being, and preventive care, delivered through a mix of community engagement activities and educational content.

Outreach efforts have included university roadshows, workshops, and public seminars, each attracting over 100 participants. The initiative also includes partnerships with corporate organisations and community groups, providing complimentary screenings for cervical, breast, and bone health.

As part of its broader engagement strategy, Orchid Hospital also developed a 10-episode podcast series featuring healthcare professionals and public figures, discussing key health topics from adolescence through to menopause.

The Healthcare Asia Awards programme recognises hospitals across the region that demonstrate innovation, operational excellence, and impact in patient care, with a focus on institutions contributing to the advancement of healthcare standards in their respective markets.
