Construction Industry Comes Together for a Worthy Cause
The Lighthouse Club Cambodia will host a fundraising cocktail reception on July 09, 2026, at the Hotel Cambodiana in Phnom Penh, bringing together members of Cambodia’s construction industry to support a construction worker who suffered life-changing injuries in a workplace accident.
The event, which will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the hotel’s lawn, marks the organisation’s third event of 2026 and follows its Charity Golf Day held in February.
Supporting Phang Phirum’s Recovery
Proudly sponsored by Fallprotec Asia, the fundraising evening will raise financial support for Phang Phirum, who lost both legs below the knee and the use of one arm following a serious construction site accident.
In line with Lighthouse Club Cambodia’s mission of supporting workers and families within Cambodia’s construction sector, funds raised during the event will help improve Phirum’s mobility and quality of life. Organisers have also indicated that additional details about the support initiative will be revealed during the evening.
Networking Across Cambodia’s Construction Sector
Beyond the fundraising effort, the cocktail reception will provide an opportunity for contractors, developers, engineers, consultants, suppliers and other industry professionals to strengthen relationships and expand their professional networks.
The event aims to foster greater collaboration across Cambodia’s construction community while encouraging members of the industry to give back to colleagues facing significant hardship.
Continuing a Tradition of Industry Support
Lighthouse Club Cambodia regularly organises charitable and networking events that support construction workers and their families while promoting safety, welfare and community engagement across the Kingdom’s construction sector.
The organisation is encouraging members, industry partners and supporters to attend the evening, contribute to the fundraising effort and help make a meaningful difference in Phang Phirum’s recovery.
