The program was officially inaugurated at the Singapore Cambodia International Academy (SCIA) and Pannasastra International School (PSIS) in Phnom Penh. It seeks to enhance the educational and artistic environments for Cambodian youth.

The KWN Global Program is an international filmmaking competition for students aged 10 to 18. It provides participants with Panasonic LUMIX camera gear and the opportunity to collaborate with experienced photographers and filmmakers. The initiative focuses on developing essential soft skills such as creativity, communication, and teamwork, while encouraging students to express their views on environmental issues and sustainable development.

To Represent Cambodia In This Global Competition Since Last Year

SCIA and PSIS have been selected to represent Cambodia in this global competition since last year. Each school will produce a short film for the primary and secondary categories, utilizing Panasonic’s state-of-the-art video equipment, which is provided at no cost. Participants from 16 countries will have the opportunity to watch the event live online from Tokyo. Regardless of their physical location, children will join simultaneously via the Internet to view each other’s videos, participate in a video production workshop, and discuss social issues.
