The center is designed to perform comprehensive health assessments for individuals applying for visas to Australia, with plans to expand its services to include other countries in the future. The announcement of the new center’s launch has been well-received by corporate partners and government officials alike.

The Visa Health Check Center aims to streamline the process of meeting the health requirements necessary for visas related to travel, work, study, or migration to Australia. These assessments, required for all Australian visa subclasses, vary based on several factors. These factors include the type of visa, length of stay, purpose of visit, country of origin, and any special circumstances or significant medical histories associated with the applicant.

The opening event was attended by representatives from Intercare’s corporate allies, which include OCIC, Canadia Bank, Dara Insurance, and CamTech, among others. The event also saw participation from Okhna Mr. Charles Vann, EVP of Canadia Group, and Mr. Ben Cumming, First Secretary of the Australian Embassy in Cambodia, who was representing the Australian Ambassador Justin Whyatt.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Cumming hailed Intercare’s inclusion in the visa health check process, saying, “They are the provider that we know and trust, the provider that we have confidence to work with the standards that we have.”

Future plans for Intercare’s Visa Health Check Center include broadening its range of services to cater to individuals seeking visas for the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and other countries. The initiative aligns with Intercare’s mission to provide convenient and efficient access to necessary health services for visa applicants.

Intercare offers a variety of healthcare services

Intercare Medical Center, established in October 2020 and located in the Olympia Medical Hub, offers a variety of healthcare services, including general practice and specialist consultations, emergency services, an imaging center, a laboratory, and vaccination services. Its new Visa Health Check Center will soon be joined by an oncology department and several specialized care units.

Applicants for Australian immigration visas can arrange for their necessary medical examinations through Intercare Medical Center, one of the panel-approved clinics. The process involves scheduling an appointment and providing the necessary documents, which include an original passport, birth certificate for minors, and eMedical Referral letter.

Intercare urges applicants to abstain from consuming alcohol or caffeine on the day of their health check and bring any relevant medical records with them. Female applicants are also advised to schedule their examination for a time after their menstrual period has concluded.
