CBRE Cambodia introduced a rebranded version of its monthly networking event, now called the “CBRE Cambodia Re-construction Night,” demonstrating the company’s commitment to offering comprehensive real estate solutions. The event aims to foster relationships, facilitate information exchange, and stimulate business opportunities within the real estate and construction sectors.
Speaking to Cambodia Investment Review after the event Ms. Thyda Pov, Associate Director Retail & Project Management Services at CBRE Cambodia, articulated her enthusiasm for the revamped initiative. “The rebranding of our Construction Night as CBRE Cambodia Re-construction Night signals our dedication to providing an all-encompassing real estate solution. We envision this event as an avenue for real estate and construction professionals to engage in fruitful exchanges, keep abreast of industry updates, and create fresh business possibilities,” she said.
Lawrence Lennon, Managing Director of CBRE Cambodia, underscored the value of the Re-construction Night in bridging various players in the Cambodian real estate and construction industry. He expressed his appreciation to Hongkong Land for their sponsorship of the event, held at their flagship retail project, 313 Quayside. He also wished the outgoing Country Manager of Hongkong Land, James Padden, success in his future endeavors.
Earlier in the year, CBRE Cambodia released its Q1 2023 Market Insights report. The document provided crucial updates and analysis on Phnom Penh’s commercial and residential real estate sectors amid the industry’s rapid evolution. In the report Lennon emphasized the unprecedented competitive and challenging climate the Phnom Penh real estate market is currently navigating. He urged industry players to reassess their strategies to better fit the unique context of 2023, including the need to anticipate that past growth trends may not continue due to fundamental shifts in market dynamics.
