An exciting addition to the speaker lineup is Mr. PENN Virakoudom, Director of Competition at the Consumer Protection, Competition and Fraud Repression Directorate-General (CCF) under the Ministry of Commerce, Kingdom of Cambodia. Mr. Penn will deliver an exclusive address outlining the government’s position on the development of competition law in the Kingdom.
Cambodia’s Legal and Regulatory Landscape
Mr. Penn has played a key role in shaping Cambodia’s legal and regulatory landscape. Prior to his current position, he served as Deputy Director General of the CCF and was instrumental in drafting and managing regulations under both the Law on Competition and Law on Consumer Protection. His international experience includes secondments with the New Zealand Commerce Commission and the Korean Fair-Trade Commission, reflecting his deep expertise in international best practices.
