ASEAN VIBES Phnom Penh is continuing to grow as a curated business community for professionals, entrepreneurs and business leaders in Cambodia, with its latest gathering held at the newly launched Autoren Bar at Steigenberger Phnom Penh.
Held on August 6 on Level 46 of Morgan Tower in Koh Pich, the event brought together Cambodian and international professionals from multiple industries for an evening focused on meaningful conversations, knowledge sharing and potential business partnerships.
The gathering also allowed Steigenberger Phnom Penh to unveil Autoren Bar to the public for the first time and introduce its latest hospitality offering to members of Cambodia’s business community.
ASEAN VIBES PP is organized by Melvin Yo, Strategy and Business Development Lead at Accelebator Pte Ltd, and operates under the philosophy: “Come Curious, Leave Connected.”
Curated Approach to Business Networking
ASEAN VIBES PP was created for professionals interested in collaboration, partnerships and opportunities across Cambodia and the wider ASEAN region.
Unlike conventional membership organizations, it does not operate through databases, group chats or participation fees. Its organizers say the community’s value comes from the people attending and the quality of the conversations taking place.
Guests are carefully selected to create a diverse mix of nationalities, industries, professional experiences and perspectives. The format aims to help participants move beyond established social circles and meet people who can provide new ideas, market knowledge and commercial opportunities.
Cambodia-based business professional Seon Kim said the selection process made introductions and business matching more effective.

Attendees said ASEAN VIBES PP provides more than conventional networking, offering participants access to practical insights into Cambodia’s changing business environment.
Ngeth Bunthoeurn, Chief Executive Officer of TB Insurance Broker, said the platform creates opportunities to meet new contacts and exchange knowledge between sectors.
“Meet great people, great conversations and great opportunities to share ideas across industries,” he said.
Tom Pearson, Of Counsel at IAO Asia Legal & Consulting and Chair of the International Relations Department at Paragon International University, said ASEAN VIBES ranked among the strongest networking platforms he had attended.
“I have been to many networking events in Phnom Penh, and elsewhere, and ASEAN Vibes is one of the very best,” Pearson said.
“Melvin has created a carefully curated event, where you meet relevant and interesting people from Phnom Penh and beyond.”
Another regular attendee said meeting Cambodian and international businesspeople from different industries provided a real-time view of market trends and developments that could be difficult to obtain elsewhere.
The attendee added that relationships formed through the platform had already generated genuine business opportunities.
Steigenberger Unveils Autoren Bar
For Steigenberger Phnom Penh, the event provided an opportunity to showcase Autoren Bar and its wider range of products and services.

ASEAN VIBES Eyes Regional Growth
