IPS Cambodia and Rajah & Tann Asia to Host Webinar on Cambodia Investment, Covering Market Trends, Legal Frameworks and Opportunities

Cambodia Investment Review

IPS Cambodia and Rajah & Tann Asia are set to host an upcoming webinar aimed at providing ASEAN and international investors with practical insights into Cambodia’s evolving investment landscape, as interest in the Kingdom continues to grow across real estate and broader business sectors.

Scheduled for March 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (GMT+7), the session will bring together market practitioners and regional legal advisors to deliver a structured overview of investment conditions, regulatory frameworks, and emerging opportunities in Cambodia.

The webinar comes as Cambodia continues to position itself as an attractive destination for foreign investment, supported by steady economic growth and ongoing infrastructure development. For investors seeking clearer guidance, the session aims to bridge the gap between market potential and the practical realities of entering and operating in the country.

Focus on market trends and legal frameworks

A key focus of the session will be Cambodia’s current market trends, with speakers expected to provide insights into sector performance, investor sentiment, and areas of sustained demand. As the real estate market evolves, access to reliable, on-the-ground intelligence is becoming increasingly important for both new and existing investors.

James Whitehead IPS Cambodia Country Director said: “2026 reflects a ‘pivot year’ for the Cambodian property market. After very swift growth in the previous decade and a half, followed by a somewhat dampened market in recent years due to geopolitical shifts: in 2026 we witness that demand is strengthening significantly – albeit from less-traditional source markets; developer’s confidence is rising rapidly; and market prices have largely settled at the correct levels compared to the comparative rental yields available.

“The purpose of this webinar with our partners at RJT is to highlight how international investors can successfully stake their claim in South East Asia’s fastest growing property market, and one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Through this webinar, IPS Cambodia, with a full service suite for overseas buyers seeking hands-off investment management and/or relocation, is proud to present Cambodia to the world,” he added.

The discussion will also cover Cambodia’s tax framework and foreign property ownership regulations, two areas that remain critical for international investors. Understanding these legal and compliance requirements is essential for managing risk and ensuring long-term investment viability.

Practical insights and direct engagement

The webinar will also explore investment structuring, offering guidance on how investors can approach market entry in line with regulatory requirements and commercial objectives. Practical case studies will be included to demonstrate how investment strategies are applied in real scenarios.

Speakers will include professionals from both the real estate sector and the legal industry, reflecting a broader effort to combine technical expertise with market knowledge.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one consultations following the session, allowing for more tailored discussions based on individual investment interests. Registration is currently open ahead of the March 20 session.
