APD Bank has announced a major system maintenance period that will result in a temporary suspension of several core banking services, including deposits and withdrawals, for five days.
According to a notice issued to customers, the scheduled maintenance will begin at 10:00am on March 11, 2026 and continue until 11:59pm on March 15, 2026. During this period, a number of digital and branch-based banking services will be unavailable as the bank undertakes upgrades to enhance service quality.
Deposits, Withdrawals and Card Services Affected
The maintenance is expected to impact a wide range of services across APD Bank’s digital and physical channels.
All functions within the APD Mobile application and iBanking platform will be suspended during the maintenance window, except for limited services such as account inquiries and transfers between a customer’s own accounts.
Deposits and withdrawals will also be temporarily unavailable during the upgrade period, while card-based payment services including Visa, UPI, and CSS cards will be affected.
The bank’s Video Teller Machine (VTM) services will also be offline while the maintenance is underway.
Branch Services Temporarily Limited
APD Bank noted that the system upgrade will also affect services at its branches nationwide. Customers may experience limited service availability at branch locations during the maintenance period as the bank carries out the required technical work.
The five-day maintenance window reflects the scale of the upgrade, which is aimed at improving the bank’s digital infrastructure and ensuring greater stability across its banking systems.
Customers Encouraged to Plan Transactions in Advance
The bank has advised customers to make necessary transactions before the maintenance begins to avoid disruption.
APD Bank apologised for any inconvenience caused and said customers seeking assistance can contact the bank through its customer support hotline at 023 933 999 or 1800 211 888.
Customers can also reach the bank’s support team through its official Telegram customer service channel.
Once completed, the maintenance is expected to improve the reliability and performance of APD Bank’s banking platforms.
