Cambodia Investment Review

Solarworks Solutions Co., Ltd. has donated two solar powered system together with a battery storage system to support the Banteay Meanchey Refuge Site, providing reliable electricity for essential daily needs.

The solar-and-battery system enables refugees to boil water, charge mobile phones, and maintain lighting at night, significantly improving safety, communication, and basic living conditions—especially after sunset, when access to light is critical.

Access To Electricity Is Not a Luxury But A Necessity

In emergency and displacement settings, access to electricity is not a luxury but a necessity. Battery-backed solar power ensures continuity beyond daylight hours, offering displaced families greater security and dignity.

“Access to basic energy—especially lighting at night—can immediately change the quality of life for displaced families,” said Dalton Wong, Chairman of Solarworks Solutions Co., Ltd.

“This is a practical and scalable solution. However, many more refugee sites urgently need support, and we cannot do this alone.”

Every Contribution Is Maximized For Humanitarian Impact

To encourage wider participation, Solarworks Solutions Co., Ltd. will supply additional solar panels at cost price, with free installation, ensuring that every contribution is maximized for humanitarian impact.

Solarworks calls on kind-hearted individuals, companies, and organizations to join this initiative and help bring clean, reliable energy to more refugee communities.

Together, we can bring light, safety, and connection to those who need it most.
