Commitment to Local Sourcing and Sustainable Growth

As part of HEINEKEN’s strategy for long-term impact, the company has prioritized local procurement, with approximately 75% of its total purchasing directed toward Cambodian suppliers. This approach strengthens local supply chains and helps to drive economic activity across various sectors.

Alongside its economic impact, HEINEKEN Cambodia remains committed to sustainability through its “Brew a Better Cambodia” initiative, which centers on environmental responsibility, social development, and promoting responsible drinking. In 2024, HEINEKEN expanded its offerings with Heineken® 0.0, a non-alcoholic beer aimed at promoting moderation and providing consumers with healthier choices.

Harrison White, Founder and CEO of CIR Media, commented on the importance of professional and ethical companies like HEINEKEN leading Cambodia’s industries: “Professionalism and integrity are essential in Cambodia’s business landscape, and HEINEKEN is a benchmark for this. By prioritizing sustainable growth, ethical practices, and local engagement, HEINEKEN sets a standard that benefits the entire industry. It’s through such commitment that Cambodia’s economy, communities, and business environment will continue to thrive.”
