The inaugural HoSkar Night event, organized by Savills Hotels, was a resounding success on Thursday, attracting over 200 attendees and solidifying Phnom Penh as a vibrant hub of the hospitality and real estate industries. MMauro Gasparotti, Founder of WeHub’s HoSkar Night event series and Director of Savills Hotels Asia Pacific, spoke enthusiastically about the evening. “The first-ever HoSkar Night in Phnom Penh was an exceptional success. A highly competitive landscape in Phnom Penh
There are plans to bring the region’s largest hospitality conference, ‘Meet the Experts,’ to Phnom Penh in the near future. Gasparotti also observed a resurgence in hospitality demand in Cambodia, particularly from business travelers and groups. However, he cautioned that the landscape is highly competitive, and few properties have exceeded 50% occupancy.
