The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (CanCham) and Indian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (InCham) joined forces to host a successful joint business networking event at the Sun & Moon Hotel Riverside in Phnom Penh. The event was attended by more than 120 members from both organizations who gathered to connect, network, and explore potential business opportunities.
Frédéric H. Proulx, the Chairman of CanCham, expressed his excitement and gratitude for the resounding success of the event. He commended the joint efforts of both chambers, which resulted in a gathering that saw members from both sides interact and create new business connections.
Joint event sponsored by Pernod Ricard
The evening was filled with delicious food and drinks sponsored by Pernod Ricard, who generously provided an abundance of refreshments throughout the evening. The event provided an opportunity for guests to relax, mingle, and exchange ideas in a convivial atmosphere.
Guests were impressed with the quality of the food and drinks and the attentive service provided by the Sun & Moon Hotel facilities. The evening was made even more exciting by the wide range of lucky draw prizes, which included fantastic offerings from our sponsors Atmosphere Chiba, Breathe Wild, Pernod Ricard, and the Sun & Moon Hotel facilities.

The joint event provided an ideal platform for members of CanCham and InCham to come together and explore new business opportunities. Sandeep Majumdar, a representative from InCham, added that the purpose of the event was to facilitate the exchange of ideas and help members find common business opportunities. He further explained that InCham was closely working with its partners and associates in India to bring in more business delegates to Cambodia and vice versa.
Fostering new business relationships
To this end, InCham is working with its associates to bring 150+ business delegations to Cambodia during the first week of April. This initiative aims to kickstart the process of exploring business opportunities and to keep the momentum going, InCham plans to bring at least 3 to 4 regional state delegations from India to Cambodia this year.
Overall, the joint business networking event was a resounding success, bringing members from CanCham and InCham together to foster new relationships and explore business opportunities. The success of the event is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both chambers, their sponsors, and members, and highlights their commitment to promoting camaraderie and business growth in Cambodia.
