Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh’s admission day was held at Raffles on Saturday the 19th of November that attracted a diversified presence of more than 100 distinguished guests, school founding governors, and parents including their adorable children that attended the programme, and the venue was filled by this excited crowd.
British Ambassador to Cambodia, His Excellency, Mr. Dominic Williams MBE, was there to expound the virtues of a British Education, especially when provided by an institution such as a Shrewsbury school.
Founding Principal, Toby Waterson and Deputy Principal Early Years, Charlotte Thomas spoke convincingly about what sets Shrewsbury’s educational experience apart from anything else in the country at present, an education ‘like no other’. Principal Waterson also gave a compelling case as to why boarding, which will be established at Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh, is an attractive option for families who had not considered boarding for their children before.

The deadline for the application and scholarship will be on the 28th November 2022. Thus, the assessment and interview process will start on the first week of December with the announcement of the result on 12th December 2022.
Early Years is now open at Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh’s Flatiron location in Phnom Penh City Centre (for children aged two to five years old). The main campus of the school is scheduled to open in September 2024 in the city’s northern district of Chroy Changvar. The main campus will include primary and secondary school students as well as boarding facilities.
