Prudential Cambodia, the title sponsor of Cambodia’s flagship fintech event, has co-hosted an inaugural country exhibit at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2022 organized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore highlighting Cambodia’s fintech and tech development.
Cambodia was one of the country exhibitors with the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) and Prudential Cambodia as co-exhibitors in the Singapore FinTech Festival to showcase the vast fintech and tech landscape that Cambodia has to offer.
Cambodia’s Bakong project-The Next-Generation Mobile Payments and Banking was also featured in the SFF Ecosystem Stage with H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Assistant Governor and Director General of the National Bank of Cambodia delivering a keynote presentation at the festival.
Foster further collaborations in Asia and beyond
Cambodia’s Association of Finance and Technology (CAFT) also signed a MoU with other ASEAN countries (Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) for the One ASEAN FinTech Movement to foster further collaborations in Asia and beyond.
Prudential, a leading insurance company around the world has been investing significantly in enhancing its digital capabilities for South East Asia including Cambodia as well as providing tailored insurance products to the market.
Prudential Cambodia has been the title sponsor of CamTech Summit since 2021 the flagship fintech event in Cambodia co-organized by the Cambodian Fintech Association (CAFT), National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), Cambodia Microfinance Association and Association of Banks Cambodia.
This year’s event will run in hybrid with the inaugural Cambodia Tech Expo happening on November 11 to 13th.

The joint effort between the two sectors will also raise awareness and confidence among the consumers and the public regarding insurance services in Cambodia.
Diversifying its products Prudential Cambodia is now offering, through its Pulse product, bite-sized insurance products. These products start at less than $10 per year, are simple to understand and purchase, and most importantly have a simple claims process.
Recently, Prudential Cambodia has launched the Insurance Selling Machine, which is making healthcare and protection affordable and accessible to all. The customer experience is frictionless, be it for payments or claims.
