TRIBE Hotel Phnom Penh hosts International Business Chamber networking night

The newly launched hotel and co-working business hub TRIBE Hotel in Phnom Penh has welcomed over 150 International Business Chamber (IBC) members and guests as the chamber looks to expands its face-to-face networking opportunities.

Paul Clements IBC Chairman told Cambodia Investment Review the chamber is increasing its reach across Cambodia’s business and government community providing its members with more insight and influence.

The chamber has previously identified that regular face-to-face consultations would also be of assistance when international delegations come to Cambodia allowing for more inclusion of all Chambers to achieve a greater representation of nationalities and business sectors.

Over 150 guests attended the networking event.

Okhna Lim Socheat, IBC Board Member said that professional networking is a backbone for success in running business as it is a platform creating opportunities for us to expand our relationship with relevant stakeholders, both local & foreigner.

“Spending time to build relationships will deliver great results in the future as well as give back to yourself and your business,” he added.

TRIBE Hotel ready for local business community

The newly launched TRIBE Hotel Phnom Penh Post Office Square is located along Phnom Penh’s riverside and is the first branch in Cambodia.

In addition to being a destination for travelers TRIBE Hotel is also offering facilities for more business networking opportunities as well as co-working space options.

Speaking to Cambodia Investment Review during a previous hotel tour TRIBE Hotel spokesperson said: “It is hoped by management that our space will attract more than just tourists.”

“TRIBE is about more than just our guests and we want to be a hub for everyone. We are very confident our rooftop bar will be able to compete with the best the city currently offers,” they added.

TRIBE Hotel is located on the Corner of Street 01 and Street 94 in Phnom Penh.

One of the other things that strike you when you enter the hotel is not only how well planned it is, but also how modern, particularly from a technological point of view, which involves a huge area set apart for digital nomads.

The large co-working space was “key” to what the brand stood for explaining that: “We have set up a modern hotel where you literally have everything that you need. People’s work habits have changed, so we are perfectly fitted for the digital nomad”.
