Techo International Airport Expands Its Cultural Role

Beyond serving as Cambodia’s new aviation hub, Techo International Airport is increasingly positioning itself as a destination that introduces international visitors to the country’s culture, business community and creative talent from the moment they arrive.

By hosting the exhibition in its Arrival Hall, the airport provides thousands of international travellers with an opportunity to discover Cambodia through the stories of its business leaders, entrepreneurs and influential personalities.

Diplomats and Business Leaders Attend Opening

The VIP inauguration brought together members of Cambodia’s diplomatic corps, business community and cultural sector.

Among those attending were Steven Pang Chee Wee, Ambassador of Singapore to Cambodia; Dominic Williams; and Nam Lynal, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Commerce, Prestige cover personalities and Friends of Prestige.

Opening remarks were delivered by My Natthida, Editor-in-Chief of Prestige Cambodia, who reflected on the publication’s growth as the newest edition within the regional Prestige network and its commitment to telling the stories of the people helping shape Cambodia’s future.

Speaking during the ceremony, Ambassador Steven Pang Chee Wee said culture has the ability to connect people across borders, noting that the exhibition celebrates the shared creativity, ambition and human connections that continue to strengthen ties between Singapore and Cambodia.

Strengthening Cambodia’s Regional Profile

Designed as a non-commercial cultural exhibition, the showcase demonstrates how premium media can contribute to promoting Cambodia’s business ecosystem, creative industries and international image.

As international travel continues to recover and Techo International Airport prepares to become a major regional gateway, exhibitions such as this provide an additional platform for showcasing Cambodian success stories to global visitors while reinforcing the country’s position within Asia’s growing luxury, business and lifestyle landscape.

The exhibition will remain open to the public in Techo International Airport’s Arrival Hall until 11 July 2026.
