Vehicle owners can now use ACLEDA Bank’s Super App to apply for the renewal of their vehicle technical inspection certificate, commonly known as “Chhiek,” without first having to visit a vehicle inspection centre in person.
Phal Sokchamroeun, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of ACLEDA Bank, said the service was introduced through cooperation between the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and ACLEDA Bank.
He said allowing motorists to submit renewal applications through the ACLEDA Super App supports the wider adoption of digital services, providing the public with a faster and more convenient experience while reducing administrative complexity.
Phal Sokchamroeun added that ACLEDA Bank remains committed to developing its digital banking services and expanding cooperation with relevant institutions to make public services more accessible, secure and responsive to citizens’ needs in the digital era.
How to Use the Service
To apply for the renewal of a vehicle inspection certificate:
- Open the ACLEDA Super App.
- Scroll down to “Other Services” and select “MPWT Public Service.”
- Read and accept the terms and conditions.
- Select “Vehicle Inspection Certificate Renewal.”
- Scan the QR code to verify the vehicle’s information using the vehicle identification card, vehicle tax document or existing inspection certificate.
- Upload the required documents, including the vehicle identification card, vehicle tax document or inspection certificate, as well as the national identification card of the vehicle owner or applicant.
- Select a preferred inspection date and inspection centre, then pay the applicable service fee.
Through the digital service, vehicle owners can prepare and submit their applications more quickly and conveniently while selecting an inspection time and location that best suits their needs.
