Arnaud Darc, former Chairman of European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (EuroCham) from 2016 to 2020 and currently Chairman of the Cambodia Restaurant Association, was nominated as co-Chair of the Government – Private Sector Working Group D, on Law, Tax and Governance.
The working group is also co-chaired by Minister of Economy and Finance Aun Porn Moniroth and was created for significant initiatives to maintain and even extend the attractiveness of Cambodia as a destination for investment and trade, fostering the post-COVID 19 economic recovery.
In a posted statement EuroCham said they are pleased that the International Business Chamber of Cambodia (IBC) will continue to administer the private sector secretariat of Working Group D. Adding, the IBC has tremendously contributed to helping the co-Chair and the whole private sector to input and administer their views vis-a-vis the Royal Government.
“I am sure the current team at the IBC will continue the great work done in the past under its late Chairman, Bretton Sciaroni, who co-initiated this Working Group. EuroCham very much looks forward to working with Arnaud Darc and Working Group D in the future, and wishes him all the best for this new and exciting challenge,” Tassilo Brinzer, EuroCham Cambodia’s current Chairman said.
