AmCham Cambodia has announced that it is now accepting nominations for six open seats on its Board of Governors, with elections scheduled for March 2025. The elected board members will serve a two-year term, helping to shape AmCham’s strategic direction, oversight, and engagement with the business community in Cambodia.
The Board of Governors is responsible for managing AmCham’s policies, overseeing its events and initiatives, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. Board members are expected to participate actively in monthly meetings and chamber activities. Those who miss three consecutive meetings or five within a 12-month period will be considered to have resigned from their position.

To be eligible, candidates must be senior leaders within an AmCham member company and must have held membership for at least one year. They must also have participated as a speaker, panelist, or officer at an AmCham event or attended at least two chamber events in the past 12 months. Additionally, candidates must have been physically present in Cambodia for at least six months before the election and be committed to maintaining a presence for at least nine months per year.
AmCham requires board members to dedicate six to eight hours per month to chamber activities, including attending meetings and events. Candidates must also meet ethical and professional standards, ensuring no history of legal or reputational issues that could reflect negatively on the chamber.
