Strengthening a Long-standing Partnership

NHAM24, Cambodia’s leading super app, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Express Food Group (EFG), Cambodia’s foremost food and beverage (F&B) operator. The agreement aims to fortify their existing partnership and further expand their presence in the Cambodian market.

NHAM24’s commitment to offering diverse food and beverage options is highlighted through this partnership, which also reaffirms EFG’s position as the leading F&B operator in Cambodia. EFG is recognized for delivering high-quality food experiences through its portfolio of well-known franchised brands such as The Pizza Company, Dairy Queen, Krispy Kreme, Bar-B-Q Plaza, Swensen’s, The Coffee Club, Boost Juice, and Kamu-Kamu.

Exploring New Opportunities in the Khmer Market

The agreement was formalized during a ceremony at Lucky Pavilion Mall in Phnom Penh, attended by key executives from both companies. This renewed partnership is expected to drive continued growth and innovation within Cambodia’s rapidly evolving food delivery market.

Founded in 2016, NHAM24 is Cambodia’s pioneering on-demand super app, offering a wide range of services including food delivery, ride-hailing, grocery delivery, bus and ferry booking, private taxi services, parcel delivery, e-ticketing, buy and sell, and e-commerce shopping. Operating across 19 cities in Cambodia, NHAM24 boasts the largest footprint of any super app in the country.

Driving Growth In Cambodia’s Competitive Food Delivery Market

The platform is integrated into the daily lives of over one million users, supporting the livelihoods of over 10,000 riders and driver partners, and empowering more than 20,000 food and quick-commerce merchants to expand their businesses. Headquartered in Phnom Penh, NHAM24 employs over 300 staff dedicated to providing value, convenience, and efficiency to its customers.

Express Food Group, headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, employs over 2,000 people and operates in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. EFG partners with leading food and beverage brands in Southeast Asia, including Minor Food International, Thai Food Passion Group, Kamu Kamu, and CJ Foodville, as well as North American brands like International Dairy Queen, Krispy Kreme, and Texas (Church’s) Chicken, for which EFG is a franchisee in Laos. Additionally, EFG is a franchisee for Australian brands The Coffee Club and Boost Juice.

EFG is majority owned by RMA Group, with minority holdings by Lombard Asia Investments and local partners in Laos and Myanmar. In Cambodia, EFG is a joint venture partner with Newrest, operating food and beverage services at the country’s airports.
