Northbridge International School Cambodia (NISC), part of the Nord Anglia Education global network, has reported strong academic outcomes for its International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) Class of 2025, highlighting continued growth and competitiveness within Cambodia’s international education sector.
This year’s cohort achieved a 100% pass rate, with an average score of 35 points, well above the global average of 30.5, according to the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Additionally, 15% of students scored 40 points or more, a benchmark commonly associated with admission to world-leading institutions such as University College London, National University of Singapore, and McGill University. Notably, 64% of students received a full Bilingual Diploma, showcasing the school’s commitment to multilingualism and academic rigor.

Principal Frances Morton added: “The Class of 2025 has not only excelled academically but also demonstrated a strong commitment to making a difference in our community. We are confident they will continue to thrive beyond school.”

Competitive Landscape Among Top-Tier International Schools
Northbridge’s results come amid increasing demand for high-quality international education in Cambodia. The sector has grown significantly in recent years, fueled by both expatriate demand and rising interest from Cambodian families. Schools such as Northbridge, ISPP, and CIA First International School continue to be viewed as leading providers, offering globally recognized curricula and pathways to top global universities.
Northbridge is part of the Nord Anglia Education group, which operates more than 80 schools across 33 countries, educating over 90,000 students worldwide. The school offers the full IB continuum, from the Primary Years Programme (PYP) to the Diploma Programme (DP).
Sarah Newton, Head of Secondary at NISC, noted: “Our students’ outcomes represent a combination of personal resilience and the dedication of our teaching staff. These results will enable our graduates to access some of the world’s most competitive university programs.”

Outlook for International Education in Cambodia
As Cambodia’s economy grows and its global connectivity deepens, demand for premium K-12 education continues to rise. According to CBRE Cambodia, international schools are expected to remain a key driver of residential and mixed-use development in areas like Phnom Penh’s Chroy Changvar and Sen Sok districts.
With a consistent track record of strong academic results and global university placements, Northbridge and its peers are helping shape the country’s next generation of internationally competitive graduates.
