WeWatch Partners with Ministry of Tourism to Boost Cambodia’s Global Tourism Presence

Cambodia Investment Review

WeWatch, a Singapore-invested digital entertainment and media platform, has unveiled a series of initiatives aimed at supporting Cambodia’s tourism industry and helping local businesses expand their reach across Southeast Asia and beyond.

The move comes as part of a broader collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, reflecting the company’s commitment to leveraging technology to promote Cambodia’s cultural and natural assets on the global stage.

Expanding Cambodia’s Digital Tourism Footprint

Through its new program, WeWatch will provide tourism-related businesses — including hotels, restaurants, and spas — with opportunities to showcase promotional videos and photos to international audiences in Indonesia, Singapore, Cambodia, and other regional markets. The company said the effort is designed to highlight Cambodia’s “remarkable culture, rich heritage, and warm hospitality” to potential visitors worldwide.

Sarah Wang, CEO of WeWatch, said the company’s role goes beyond media distribution. “WeWatch stands strong with Cambodia and Cambodian businesses in this difficult time,” she said. “We want to do our part to help our partners in tourism connect with new markets and audiences across Asia, embrace the benefits of digitalization, and share Cambodia’s unique culture with the world.”

Introducing WeLite: Digitalization for Local Businesses

As part of its tourism push, WeWatch has launched WeLite — an entry-level hospitality digitalization service that helps small and locally owned tourism businesses start their digital transformation journey affordably. The platform aims to simplify digital adoption for smaller operators, enabling them to improve visibility and customer engagement without heavy infrastructure investments.

The launch complements the company’s existing partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, which focuses on promoting Cambodia’s tourism resources through digital channels across Southeast Asia.

A Broader Commitment to Tourism Recovery

In addition to WeLite, WeWatch plans to enhance its Premium Hospitality Solutions for luxury and international hotels, offering world-class digital services to high-end clients. These upgrades are expected to strengthen Cambodia’s reputation as a destination that blends authentic cultural experiences with modern hospitality standards.

The company has invited local tourism businesses to submit promotional materials, including 30-second MP4 videos, 16:9 ratio images, and transparent PNG logos, to be featured on WeWatch’s regional platforms and partner networks. Submissions can be sent via email to contents@wewatch.asia.

According to WeWatch, these initiatives underscore its long-term vision of supporting Cambodia’s digital transformation and sustainable tourism growth. By amplifying local businesses’ visibility across Asia, the company aims to play a key role in helping the sector recover and compete internationally.
