Canadia Bank Appoints Dominic Notario as New CEO

Canadia Bank has appointed Dominic Mario Notario as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Raymond Sia, who has led the institution since 2018. The leadership transition was announced during the bank’s Townhall on October 22, 2025, marking a new chapter for one of Cambodia’s largest and most established financial institutions.

Leadership Change Follows Strong 2024 Results

The appointment follows a year of strong financial performance for the bank. According to Canadia Bank’s 2024 figures, total assets reached US$8.6 billion, gross revenue stood at US$525 million, and net profit totaled US$84.6 million. The bank employs more than 4,000 staff across 68 branches and operates over 420 ATMs, CRMs, and VTMs nationwide, maintaining one of the largest service networks in Cambodia.

Experienced Regional Banker

According to his LinkedIn profile, Notario brings over two decades of regional experience across China, Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar, and the Philippines. He previously served as Chief Risk Officer at SB Finance in the Philippines and Executive Vice President at Krungsri Bank in Thailand, as well as Chief Executive Officer of Myanmar Oriental Bank.

With a strong background in commercial and retail banking strategy, project management, and risk management, Notario is expected to guide Canadia Bank through its next phase of modernization and digital transformation.

Founded in 1991, Canadia Bank remains one of Cambodia’s most systemically important banks, playing a key role in supporting both individual and corporate clients amid the country’s evolving financial landscape.
