The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (CanCham Cambodia) proudly hosted its annual Canadian Thanksgiving Celebration in Phnom Penh, bringing together members of the Canadian community, business leaders, and friends of Canada for an evening of gratitude, connection, and cultural exchange.
This year’s event was held in the presence of H.E. Christian DesRoches, Ambassador of Canada to Cambodia, as the evening’s Guest of Honour. Ambassador DesRoches shared his remarks celebrating the strong and growing friendship between Canada and Cambodia, as well as the role of Canadian businesses and institutions in fostering innovation, education, and sustainable growth across the Kingdom.

Guests enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner featuring turkey, stuffing, and all the festive trimmings, while networking with representatives from leading organizations including Manulife Cambodia, ABA Bank, OCIC, and the Ontario International Trade representative.
“Thanksgiving is one of Canada’s most cherished traditions — a time to gather, reflect, and give thanks. We’re grateful for our members, partners, and the vibrant Cambodian community that continues to make CanCham stronger every year,” said Yein Ngo, Vice-Chair of CanCham Cambodia.
The event was also a celebration of CanCham’s growing role in promoting Canada–Cambodia bilateral ties, supporting Canadian entrepreneurs, and building a platform for knowledge exchange between local and international businesses.
