ABA Bank and T.O Group Strengthen Partnership to Expand Digital Payment Solutions in Cambodia

 Cambodia Investment Review

ABA Bank, Cambodia’s leading digital bank, has reinforced its long-standing collaboration with T.O Group, a key player in IT services and POS solutions, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The partnership aims to expand access to secure, convenient, and cashless payments for businesses and customers nationwide.

Building on years of successful integration with ABA PayWay, the Bank’s award-winning online payment gateway, T.O Group will now leverage PayWay’s QR API to integrate dynamic QR payments into its POS and billing systems. This enables merchants to generate QR codes—including KHQR and other supported payment methods—and accept payments with real-time confirmation, both in-store and online.

Making Transactions Faster, Safer, and Easier

For customers, KHQR codes will appear on cashier screens, invoices, websites, and payment links—making transactions faster, safer, and easier with a simple scan.

The MoU signing ceremony took place on 11 September 2025 at the ABA Bank Head Office, attended by Zokhir Rasulov, EVP/Chief Digital Officer at ABA Bank, and Heng Vattay, Director of T-O Group, together with their respective teams.

“Our collaboration with T.O Group is another important step in shaping the future of payments in Cambodia. By integrating PayWay’s QR API into merchant systems, we are enabling businesses of all sizes to accept KHQR and other QR-based payments more easily, while giving customers a faster, safer, and more convenient way to pay. Together, we are expanding the reach of cashless solutions and making digital payments a natural part of everyday life,” commented Rasulov.

Mission Is To Equip Cambodian Merchants

“At T-O Group, our mission is to equip Cambodian merchants—especially SMEs and local entrepreneurs—with tools that drive growth and efficiency. This collaboration with ABA introduces cutting-edge payment innovation that streamlines operations, reduces errors, and strengthens customer loyalty,” said Heng Vattay, Director of T-O Group.

This strategic alliance reflects a shared commitment to supporting Cambodia’s digital transformation and financial inclusion. Together, ABA Bank and T-O Group are laying the foundation for a fully connected, cashless Cambodia.
