More than 120 senior executives and business leaders came together this week for BritCham Cambodia’s first-ever British & Chinese C-Suite Networking Event, marking a significant step toward closer ties between Western and Chinese business communities operating in the Kingdom.

The evening was hosted at Morgan Tower, one of Phnom Penh’s most prominent business landmarks, and attracted a strong mix of Chinese companies and British and international firms. The event highlighted the growing importance of collaboration between different business communities as Cambodia continues to position itself as a regional hub for trade and investment.

Expanding Collaboration Across Business Communities

Organizers described the event as a milestone in BritCham Cambodia’s efforts to foster greater integration among companies with diverse backgrounds. By bringing together Chinese enterprises and British-linked firms under one roof, the event aimed to build stronger relationships and open opportunities for joint ventures, partnerships, and knowledge sharing.

Highlighting The Importance Of Integration

Harrison White, Founder and Editor of Cambodia Investment Review, who attended the event, said the evening underscored the importance of building more bridges between Cambodia’s Chinese and Western-originated businesses.

“Greater integration is critical not only for Cambodia’s economy but for the broader region as well,” White noted. “Events like this are important because they allow executives from different backgrounds to develop trust and understanding, which ultimately drives new investment opportunities.”
