Cambodia Investment Review
Little Caesars, the world’s third-largest pizza chain, has launched its third outlet in Cambodia with a new store at Makro Sen Sok, reinforcing its aggressive expansion strategy in Southeast Asia’s emerging markets.
The grand opening ceremony was attended by high-profile guests including Neak Oknha Sear Rithy, Chairman of WorldBridge Group, and Mr. Ashok Lal, spokesperson for Little Caesars International. The event marked a key milestone in the brand’s Cambodian rollout, following the successful openings of its first two locations in Phnom Penh.
Local Partnerships Driving International Growth
The presence of Neak Oknha Sear Rithy at the launch underscored the importance of strategic local partnerships in facilitating international brand entry. WorldBridge Group, one of Cambodia’s leading diversified conglomerates, has played a central role in supporting Little Caesars’ market entry and ongoing expansion.
Mr. Ashok Lal remarked during the ceremony, “The opening of our third store at Makro Sen Sok is more than just an expansion — it’s a reflection of our commitment to bringing quality, convenience, and value to Cambodian communities. We deeply appreciate the ongoing support from our local partners and the trust from our customers.”

The new Makro Sen Sok outlet aims to cater to the increasing demand for quick-service meals among families, professionals, and students in one of Phnom Penh’s fastest-growing districts.
Cambodia’s Fast-Food Market on the Rise
Little Caesars entered Cambodia in November 2024 with its first store on Koh Pich, making the Kingdom its 29th global market. Paula Vissing, President of Global Retail at Little Caesars, noted at the time that Cambodia represents a “dynamic and rapidly growing market,” with rising consumer demand for affordable and fast dining options.
Little Caesars says the number of international franchise brands entering Cambodia has increased by over 30% in the past five years, reflecting the country’s attractiveness as an emerging market for global brands.

According to industry insiders who spoke to Cambodia Investment Review, Little Caesars is planning to open approximately 10 stores over the next five years — a sign of confidence in the sector’s continued growth.
HOT-N-READY® Model Gains Traction
Little Caesars is known for its HOT-N-READY® concept, which allows customers to walk in and pick up freshly made pizzas without waiting. The model has proven especially effective in Cambodia’s fast-paced urban environment, offering speed, affordability, and consistency — key ingredients in the competitive food and beverage sector.
Operating daily from 10:00 AM onwards, the new Makro Sen Sok store further solidifies the company’s footprint in Cambodia and signals a strong vote of confidence in the market’s long-term potential.

As the fast-food landscape in Cambodia becomes increasingly saturated, the presence of globally recognized brands such as Little Caesars will likely reshape consumer expectations around value, service, and convenience.
