Cambodia Investment Review
ABA Bank reinforced its efforts to support humanitarian causes with an additional $100,000 contribution to the Samdech Techo Voluntary Youth Doctor Association (TYDA), marking another shared step in addressing critical healthcare needs.
Following the MoU signed in 2023, which outlined a total of $300,000 in financial assistance, this marks the third contribution to TYDA as part of its ongoing commitment. Throughout the partnership, the support enables TYDA to maintain and expand its free health check-up campaigns across Cambodia.
Contribute To Its Vital Humanitarian Work
On 4 June 2025, the donation handover meeting was presided over by Assistant Professor Sou Syphanna, Chief Executive Officer of TYDA, and Askhat Azhikhanov, President and Chief Executive Officer at ABA Bank, alongside representatives from both parties.

“From one year to another, we’re pleased to extend our support to TYDA and contribute to its vital humanitarian work. Witnessing the positive impact of the campaigns, especially on rural patients, has been truly inspiring,” commented Askhat Azhikhanov.
Actively Participated In Numerous Health Check-Ups
Over the past years, ABA staff have actively participated in numerous Health Check-up and Treatment Days organized by TYDA across various provinces.
“We are deeply grateful for ABA Bank’s continued support, not only through their monetary assistance but also through active staff involvement in our campaigns across the country. This collaboration reflects a shared vision for resilience and community well-being throughout Cambodia,” stated Sou Syphanna.
Building upon the longstanding partnership, ABA Bank is proud to stand alongside TYDA and its humanitarian efforts to provide free and essential medical care to Cambodia’s underserved communities.
