MG Cambodia has reported a 50% year-on-year increase in vehicle sales for 2025, marking one of the strongest performances among automotive brands operating in the Kingdom. The growth comes amid a highly competitive market environment and ongoing shifts in consumer demand, particularly in relation to electric vehicles and after-sales support.
The company attributed the performance to a combination of pricing stability, nationwide service expansion, and the introduction of new electric and premium vehicle models.
Focus on Value, Reliability and Warranty
MG’s strategy in Cambodia has centered on maintaining competitive pricing while offering vehicles with features aimed at long-term value, including a five-year warranty. This approach has aligned with evolving consumer preferences, as more buyers seek a balance of performance, design, and resale potential.
In 2025, MG continued to offer bundled promotions and warranty packages aimed at improving customer confidence and ownership satisfaction.

Network Expansion and Service Accessibility
The company also invested in growing its physical footprint across the country. In 2025, MG opened a second service center in Phnom Penh (PP2), launched a new showroom in Siem Reap, and announced an upcoming service center in Battambang. These efforts have contributed to improved accessibility for customers in both urban and regional locations.
According to company representatives, expanding after-sales service coverage remains a core part of MG’s strategy to increase customer retention and brand visibility.
Electric Vehicles and Charging Infrastructure
MG continued to scale up its presence in Cambodia’s electric vehicle (EV) segment, supported by a partnership with Charge+ Cambodia. Under this agreement, MG EV owners receive a 10% discount on EV charging fees, intended to support broader adoption of sustainable mobility solutions.
The introduction of the MG Cyberster model during the year contributed to increased visibility in the EV category. The vehicle combines contemporary design with a competitive range and pricing, targeting consumers interested in environmentally friendly transport options.

New Product Launches and Market Outlook
To support future growth, MG is preparing to launch the MG RX9—a new seven-seater SUV designed to cater to both family and outdoor lifestyle segments. The model is positioned as a mid- to premium-range option, incorporating high-performance features and technology enhancements.
Looking ahead, the company plans to continue introducing new models while expanding its service offerings and customer engagement efforts. MG’s management has indicated that the focus will remain on aligning product development with shifting consumer expectations and infrastructure improvements.
